- Step 1 - Add MP3 Files
You can convert one single file or convert MP3 files in batches. The first step is adding the source MP3 files. There are four different ways to add MP3 file(s) to the main window:
- Right click one or more file(s) and select Convert to Wav
- Drag MP3 files to the main window
- Click the Add Files button and select MP3 files
TIP: You may also add MP2 or Wav files in this way
- Click the Add Folder button and select a folder
- Step 2 - Set Output Options (Optional)
You can skip this step and convert MP3 files to normal wav format, just like other converter products do. Otherwise, you can specify settings such as Frequency, Channels, Output Folder and Wav Format.
By default, the output folder is same as the folder of source file and the wav format is PCM 44.100 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo. However, you can simply modify these settings by selecting the WAV Quality combo box (for those who are in big hurry) or by selecting values in the WAV Format combo box (for experienced user).
Unlike other converter software, It enables you to use different settings for different source files. You may also click Apply to all titles button to change settings for all source files.
- Step 3 - Start To Convert
Just click the Convert button. If you select the following output formats:
VOX Dialogic ADPCM WAV , ALAW/ULAW WAV or G.721/723/726 WAV format
the converter will ask you to add an audio header for this type of output file.
Note: You must add an audio header for above wav formats if you want to play them with your audio player (e.g. Microsoft Media Player).
